The impact of an ageing population and greying workforce on employee benefits

There is indisputable evidence that the global population is ageing and people are increasingly working past traditional retirement ages, leading to a greying of the workforce. As a result there has been an increase in the number of requests from employers to continue to provide cover for health, disability and income protection benefits for employees well into their 70’s.

At the Expatriate Management and Global Mobility Conference on the 8th July, Stewart Allanson, the International Corporate Distribution Manager at Zurich Corporate Savings will be looking at this trend within the international benefits area to understand the impacts and challenges for employers and their internationally mobile employees.  Stewart has been in the world of benefits for over 30years and is a member of the international benefits association.
