Symposium have partnered once again with one of UK’s leading HR news and information resources, HRreview, as a sponsor of their focus week on recruitment issues starting on Monday (6 July). The online magazine have produced a special edition to mark the week containing the ten feature articles that will feature on their website during the week in a free ‘download-and-keep’ pdf format. The articles are written by leading practitioners and experts in recruitment in 2015 from organisations such as the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), Glassdoor, ADP, Jobsite and Careerbuider.

The special edition also contains a preview of Symposium’s Innovation in Recruitment Summit in London in September. Readers downloading the special edition pdf will receive an exclusive discount on delegate places in addition to a full summary of this year’s agenda and profiles of our exciting and recently released speaker line-up.

Symposium head of conference production Hayley Griffin

Conference producer Hayley Griffin is excited about the conference agenda and pleased to be partnering with Symposium on the key issue of recruitment in 2015. “For the first time since the recession the number of advertised jobs has overtaken the number of job seekers. This puts the candidate in a much stronger position, being able to pick, choose and demand what they want. To add to this, the UK is suffering from a skills gap with more than half of British businesses saying young people do not have the right skills for the job when they leave school. Recruitment innovation is such a key issue now for organisation’s large and small. We have worked hard to put together an agenda that will take an in-depth look at the latest innovations in recruitment, helping our delegates to stand out from competition in a tough market and find the right skills for hard-to-fill roles faster.”

“HRreview’s focus weeks are setting the HR agenda on a range of issues and we are really pleased to be a part of it.”
