The chair for our Graduate Recruitment and Development Forum 2016 has now been confirmed, and the event is already shaping up once again to be a very important date in the HR calendar.

Gordon Chesterman

Gordon Chesterman, is director of careers at the University of Cambridge.

George Chesterman will be back again to chair this year’s forum, after being received very well last year. You found him lively, engaging and thought his advice on dealing with universities was informative and very honest. So we’re extremely happy to have George with us for another event – we hope you feel the same too.

George is currently the director of careers at University of Cambridge, he began his career in personnel, training and recruitment as a graduate trainee for a multinational company. In 1983 he joined a major firm of chartered accountants as their graduate recruitment manager. After a period with a small publishing company in Cambridge and running his own training business, he joined the careers service in 1995 and was appointed Director in 2002.

This conference will be a brilliant opportunity to share top practice strategies with industry leaders across the sectors. You can also expect to uncover both the strategic and practical elements of implementing a successful and innovative graduate programme.

The production team are still currently organising the agenda and speaker panel for this conference. If you are interested in taking part in the event, then please contact Hayley through our speaker register here.
