This week our production team have released the full agenda for our Apprentices and School Leavers conference in December, to be held at the Hilton Hotel in Canary Wharf, London. Delegates can book their places now and take advantage of our early bird discount.
There has been a steady increase in the number of apprentice and school leaver programmes available over the last few years. The Centre for Economics and Business Research predict that this will grow even further.
This conference will examine how you can attract the brightest talent, from schools and colleges, to apprenticeship programmes and will guide you through setting up and running apprenticeships. The programme will feature best practice case studies from employers that have been running a successful programme for many years.
The conference will be chaired by Sue Husband, director of apprenticeships and delivery service at the Skills Funding Agency, and those speaking include senior HR, recruitment and L&D practitioners from Argos, Jaguar Land Rover, Whitbread, GTI Media and Saville Consulting.
The event will help you understand how to work with parents, schools and colleges to attract apprentices, examine the right selection and assessment methods, put together a successful apprenticeship programme and balance it with you graduate intake and development, explore qualification options, understand recent changes to education and gain insight into the current political landscape, including how you can access funding. If you currently have, or are contemplating setting up, an apprenticeship intake, this conference is a must.
