Bob Athwal to discuss how universities and employers can work together at Graduate Forum

The Graduate Recruitment and Development Forum 2016 is currently being assembled and is starting to look rather robust. Expert speaker Bob Athwal, director of student experience at the University of Leicester will be joining the graduate recruitment line-up.

Bob began his career as student union president, after which he worked for companies such as Tesco, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and graduate-jobs.com. In 2006 he joined RWE npower as head of graduate schemes, during this time Bob and his team transformed the npower brand into one of the most dynamic, visible and successful brands in graduate recruitment and development.

In 2011 his co-authored book, ‘Getting it Right’ was published, and is the first book in the UK aimed at graduate recruiters and developers. Bob joined the University of Leicester in 2012 to become director of the career service, to lead a step change in the university and employer collaboration. In 2014 Bob was promoted to director of student experience.

Bob will be speaking on a panel discussion which will be looking at how universities and employers can work together more effectively.
