Exciting new events are announced and some old favourites make a welcome return as we reveal our Autumn programme of conferences and training for HR professionals
There is plenty of exciting news coming out of our event production department as we move into the autumn season, both on the conferences and training workshops front.
Our conference schedule before December includes three of Symposium’s most popular events, which have continued to grow year on year. We have already seen huge interest in our Talent Management and Leadership Summit in October in addition to our HR Business Partnering Forum and our Employee Wellbeing and Stress conference the following month.
Yet it is the newer events that have us most excited. Following a highly successful debut in 2013, we are delighted to have our Innovation in Recruitment Summit back for a second year in September. This year the programme will feature leading experts and practitioners, talking about innovation in their recruitment processes that have seen them deliver big results.
However, the biggest excitement at Symposium is always reserved for the announcement of a new event in our calendar. Our last of 2014, following on from our Graduate Recruitment Forum in February, is a brand new conference on Apprenticeships and School Leavers.
Away from our conferences, Symposium Training is also adapting to deliver more knowledge to HR professionals in the areas that matter to them. Our new ‘Strategic decision-making for HR’ and ‘Re-engineering performance management’ workshops target senior practitioners who are keen to play the strategic role in their organisations demanded of the modern HR professional.
Our new ‘Branding and HR’ workshops examine how an organisation’s core values, employer brand and brand experience play a huge role in HR functions such as recruitment and engagement.
Finally, in yet another new edition to our training team, Katrina Collier has joined the Symposium training stable and will be delivering a new workshop in ‘social media and recruitment’.
